Teens invited to ask tough questions at panel event

The discussion is happening on Saturday, March 22, at Houston County Health Department, located at 98 Cohen Walker Drive in Warner Robins, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County Family Connection is hosting a panel later this month to discuss issues important teens deal with on a day-to-day basis.

The event, called “Your Voice, Your Choice Conversations for Teens & Guardians on Vaping, Alcohol & Drugs, and Consent,” is happening Saturday, March 22, in Warner Robins.

Teens will get a chance to ask their guardians and other trained experts questions in a safe place about topics like vaping, alcohol, drugs and consenting to sex.

The discussion, happening at the Houston County Health Department at 98 Cohen Walker Drive in Warner Robins, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is open to middle and high school students and their guardians.

Guardians must be present with their students if the student is younger than the age of 16.

Lunch will be provided for attendees, and the event is free.
