Teenager charged with breaking into cars in South Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Bond is now set for the teenager deputies say broke into a couple of cars last week in South Macon.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says it was responding to a call about a man looking into vehicles Friday morning on C Street in the Alphabet City community.

Deputies say 17-year-old Ruben Gibson matched the description of the suspect and when they tried to stop him they say he started running.

Gibson is accused of breaking into two vehicles on C Street and Henrietta Street.

He is charged with Entering Auto and his bond is set at $2,840.00.
