Teen Speaks Out After Being Shot 4 Times

19 year old Keyrod Butts is recovering from 4 gunshot wounds. He was one of 3 teenagers shot this past weekend at a birthday party on Eisenhower Parkway.

He says the near death experience will change the way he lives his life. “I just felt something hit me in the back. I felt two more shots in my leg,” says Butts.

Butts says being shot was like being stuck by lightening.” I felt like a lot of warmth like a lot of heat, and I laid down and felt a lot of blood come down on my hand,” recalls Butts.

Butts says Saturday night started of as a celebration but turned deadly 16 year old Arquentris Fountain was shot in the head and later died from his wound. Butts says he knows his friend is in a better place.
