Teen injured in Macon shooting
A 14-year-old male was injured in a shooting Sunday night on Wren Avenue, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A 14-year-old male was injured in a shooting Sunday night on Wren Avenue, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Patrol deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 1700 block of Wren Avenue just after 8 p.m. Authorities later received information that a person had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found a 14-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officials said the injury was not life-threatening. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the teen to a local hospital for treatment. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident.
