Republican candidate Ted Cruz speaks to supporters in Perry
PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, spoke to supporters Saturday afternoon.
His major talking points focused around jobs, freedom and security.
More than 800 people filled the Miller-Murphy-Howard Building at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.
Cruz criticized Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama.
“We’re going to repeal Obamacare,” says Cruz.
He also talked about having a simple flat tax. “We should abolish the IRS,” he added.
Cruz’s campaign continues to Montgomery, AL.
