Tech Report: The app Americans want to delete most
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the largest pro-business lobbying group in the country, released a report on generative artificial intelligence. The Chamber of Commerce is calling on lawmakers to create some sort of regulation around the ballooning technology, although, they didn’t offer any suggestions or details. The report noted that AI is projected to add $13 trillion to the global economic growth by 2030.
The security website VPNOverview analyzed the internet search trends for the thirty most popular apps to see which ones people were most interested in dumping. It found more than 900,000 searches in the past six month on how to delete Instagram, the highest search volume of any app. Facebook was a distant second with 385-thousand searches. Next up on the list, people were looking to delete Snapchat and Twitter.
Walmart is chipping away at Amazon’s lead in a key area, wealthy online shoppers. Bloomberg reports Walmart+ members include households making $150,000 a year. Amazon prime shoppers skew older than Walmart+ members.
A 3d-printed rocket launch by Relativity Space was aborted at the last minute. Apparently, the rocket had a temperature problem. There was no immediate word on when Relativity Space might try again.
