(LILAMAX)- Netflix has announced major growth in its ad-supported subscription tier, reporting 94 million monthly active users — an increase of more than 20 million since its last update in November. The $7.99 per month plan is proving especially popular among younger audiences, with Netflix saying it now reaches more 18- to 34-year-olds than any broadcast or cable network in the U.S.

Artificial intelligence may be the key to solving the growing problem of vacant office space. Tech company Willow is using AI and “digital twins” to help businesses identify underutilized areas, reduce waste, and operate more efficiently. Clients like Walmart and Dallas-Fort Worth Airport have reportedly saved 20 gigawatt hours in unnecessary energy use thanks to the technology. With more than 900 million square feet of empty space nationwide — each costing $10 to $25 per square foot to maintain — the stakes are high.

In an effort to attract more price-conscious customers, Uber is introducing new features including shared, fixed-route rides and expanded membership passes that allow users to lock in lower fares. The changes come just one week after Uber reported underwhelming first-quarter revenue, and signal a renewed push to broaden its user base.

A new survey by Talker Research, commissioned by AngelQ, reveals that parents spend roughly 96 hours a year arguing with their children over screen time. Two-thirds of parents worry they’re missing out on precious moments due to screen addiction, and 41% fear technology is taking over their children’s entire childhood. Key concerns include exposure to online predators, inappropriate content, and the long-term effects of excessive screen use.
