OpenAI announces GPTt-4 and claims it can beat 90% of humans on the SAT. According to the company, GPT-4 performed at the 90th percentile on a simulated bar exam. The AI landed in the 93rd percentile on an SAT reading exam, and the 89th percentile on the SAT math exam.
Meta platforms is cutting 10 thousand jobs. It will also eliminate another 5 thousand unfilled positions. CEO Mark Zuckerberg previously told analysts Meta plans “on cutting projects that aren’t performing or may no longer be crucial”. At the same time, the company will be “removing layers of middle management to make decisions faster.”
A new report from Bloomberg reveals that Apple employees may have to wait for their bonuses. Employees who expected a bonus in April will have to wait until October. Apple is also more closely watching travel budgets and leaving some positions open.
