Tech Report: Amazon in hot water after giving sellers incorrect badges

Amazon reportedly gave some sellers “small business” badges even though they were large companies. It was also reported that “black-owned small business” badges were also given to companies that are not black-owned. Amazon removed the badges from some of the products categorized incorrectly, though some still remain. Amazon did not immediately respond to request for comment.

American teens aren’t excited about virtual reality. Only 4 percent of them are using it daily. The Piper Sandley survey says 29 percent of teens polled owned a VR device, versus 87 percent who own iPhones.

Walmart’s job cuts, happening at five us e-commerce fulfillment centers, will affect more than 2,000 positions. However, the retail giant is also growing in some areas. According to a spokesman, its stores and fulfillment centers are adjusting to handle more online orders. That may enable Walmart to reshuffle, moving some workers to other jobs rather than cutting positions.
