Meanwhile, Microsoft has introduced Microsoft 365 Premium, a new $19.99 monthly subscription tier that extends artificial intelligence features to individual users for the first time. Previously limited to businesses, the plan includes access to core productivity apps, cloud storage, and ChatGPT-powered tools.

In the social media space, Reddit shares fell after RBC Capital Markets reported a steep drop in the platform’s citation share on ChatGPT, from 29.2% to 5.3% since September 10th. Reddit is reportedly in early talks with Google to pursue a new content-sharing agreement.

A new survey by UserTesting and Talker Research highlights how AI is shaping consumer shopping habits. More than half of Americans already use AI tools for shopping, with 34% relying on them for holiday gift advice. Of those, nearly three-quarters believe AI makes them better gift-givers, and 32% say they trust AI’s suggestions more than advice from family and friends. The survey also found 62% of Americans plan to shop on Black Friday this year, with 16% relying solely on Black Friday deals for their holiday shopping.
