Tech Report: AI music app Moises reaches 30 million users

Moises, a music app powered by artificial intelligence, is gaining major steam among both users and venture capitalists. The start up reports it has surpassed 30 million registered users on its platform after raising some $10 million dollars from investors. Moises uses AI to offer artists a wide range of tools including the ability to separate or remove vocals and instruments from songs, detect a song’s key, change its pitch, and identify chords.

Apple reportedly holds nationwide meetings with retail workers to ‘discuss the risks of unionization’. Bloomberg says apple executives are telling workers of the mandatory union dues that can add up over time. So far, two Apple stores in the United States have voted in favor of unionization.

Twitter changed NPR’s account to ‘government funded media’ after a backlash. Just last week, Twitter labeled the account ‘state affiliated media’. NPR executives protested the designation, saying NPR’s news operations are overseen by independent journalists and not by government officials even though it does get government funding.

Google says the top searched for summer destination is London. Cancun and Orlando round out the top three. People are feeding their need for travel to sunnier places too. Google reports that Jamaica, Bora Bora, and Turks and Caicos are all popular warm weather destinations.
