Tattnall Square Academy Moving to GHSA

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tattnall Square Academy announces it will join the Georgia High School Association.

In a release from the school, board of trustees chairman Nick Roberts says the decision was made at the board’s meeting on Monday.

“This decision was made after careful consideration of the facts, prayer, and input received from a committee consisting of administration, parents, coaches, and teachers,” writes Roberts.  “The board believes this decision best fits the mission of Tattnall which guides us in all that we do.”

Mount de Sales announced in January it was leaving the Georgia Independent School Association, joining First Presbyterian Day in the GHSA.

Stratford also announced on Monday it would leave the GISA for the GHSA.
