Tattnall Gets New Boys Basketball Coach
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tattnall Square Academy has a new boys basketball coach.
In a release, the school announced Edwin Cook was named the new coach. Cook has 25 years of experience teaching and coaching in the GISA.
At Brentwood Academy, he led the basketball team to a state title, served as assistant coach during Gatewood Academy’s perfect 58-0 record, and coached Bulloch Academy to Back to Back Region titles.
Cook was also named GISA AAA State Coach of the Year.
Former Tattnall coach Wes Parker announced last month he was taking a job at North Gwinnett after two seasons in Macon. There, Parker will serve as varsity boys assistant coach and junior varsity head coach.
