Suspects accused of beating man at local hotel

UPDATE (12/11/2017): A second man is now facing charges, accused of beating a man at a Macon hotel in November.

49-year-old Orlando Craig Wedlowe turned himself into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center Monday. He was wanted in the aggravated assault of Samuel Sessions.

 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men are now charged with aggravated assault after Bibb County deputies say they were involved in a fight that left a man unconcsious at a local hotel.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon at the America’s Best Inn on Harrison Road in West Macon.

Deputies say 35-year-old Samuel Sessions was knocked unconscious after he was hit in the face by 28-year-old Cordeiro Clinkscale during an argument about a stolen car. 49-year-old Orlando Wedlowe is accused of hitting Sessions in the face after he was already on the ground and unconscious.

Right now, Sessions is listed in critical condition.

Clinkscale and Wedlowe are both charged with aggravated assault. A judge has denied bond for Clinkscale.
