Suspected Murderer Found Dead in Apparent Suicide

According to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, murder suspect Debra Jones was found dead Tuesday afternoon. Jones was indicted in the July 2011 killing of her husband, 52 year-old Mitch Brown.

Brown’s daughter found her body at their home with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.

Brown had been out on bond since August.
