Suspect wanted for west Macon store robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is wanted for robbing a west Macon convenience store Friday night.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Hornet Food and Gas store located at 3109 Hillcrest Avenue. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the masked man entered the store with a gun and jumped over the counter where the employee was and took a box of coins.

After he got the cash, he ran off. No one was injured.
