Suspect wanted in State Bank & Trust robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man, they say, robbed the State Bank & Trust on Zebulon Road. It happened around 4:00 Monday afternoon.

Surveillance video showed the suspect walking into the bank and waiting a couple of minutes. Then, he left. After a few more minutes, he went back inside, walked up to the counter, handed a teller a note demanding money, and left with cash. We’re told he did not have a gun.

He was last seen walking towards the Kroger parking lot.

The suspect is described as being around six-foot-five-inches tall and wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a dark-colored short sleeved pull-over shirt and dark colored shorts.  He has some facial hair and is a stocky build.
