Suspect wanted for Friday Macon murder

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 20-year-old Hymetheus Johnson.

Johnson is wanted for the murder of 23-year-old Jovante Passard, according to a news release from the department.

Investigators said Johnson was seen leaving the scene in a 1999 green Honda Accord.

They believe he has since abandoned the vehicle in an unknown location.

Passard was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the front lawn of a Trade Wind Road home Friday around 7 p.m.

He was taken to the hospital, but later died.
