Suspect wanted in deadly East Macon shooting captured
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The man wanted in the shooting death of 24-year-old Jonathan Risby is now behind bars.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Anterrio Stinson was arrested Wednesday morning at a motel in Norcross, Georgia.
The US Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force in Atlanta made the arrest after 8am.
Deputies say Stinson shot and killed Risby in front of a house on Fariview Avenue. Police say 39-year-old Tanvonya Smith was also shot in the foot.
Stinson is facing several charges including murder and aggravated assault. He’s also being charged with a Probation Violation and has a Bench Warrant for Child Support.
