Suspect arrested in Macon ‘shot house’ shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Macon man Wednesday in connection to a shooting on Grosso Avenue.
The Bibb Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Alton Darnnell Oliver fired a gun near an illegal “shot house” on Grosso Avenue on June 6th. According to the Bibb County jail website, Oliver is charged with aggravated assault.
Quaterris Thomas was walking in front of the home and was hit in the hip. He was sent to the hospital and has been released. No one else was injured.
Oliver is booked in the Bibb County jail with a bond of $27,700.
