Suspect Arrested for Wilkinson Co. Homicide

The main suspect in the murder of Ronnie Rozier was arrested in Savannah Friday,and transported back to Wilkinson County to face charges.  

Wilkinson County Sheriff, Richard Chatman, says 22-year-old Zachary Beck fled the area after witnesses reported seeing his white Honda Accord in the victim’s driveway.

Beck was an acquaintance of Ronnie Rozier, whose body was discovered around 9 pm Thursday night.  It had been shot numerous times at his home on Parker Springs Church Road.  

The sheriff says robbery appears to be the motive.   Tracey Rozier wants her husband’s killer to receive the death penalty.
