Suspect arrested for taking two bottles of alcohol

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One man has been arrested after breaking into a local restaurant, and stealing two bottles of alcohol Monday evening.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies took 62-year-old Donald Jerome Allen into custody after he stole the bottle from Acapulco Restaurant on 379 Third Street in downtown Macon.

Deputies responded to the “burglary in progress” to find Allen standing in front of the business with one bottle of rum, and a bottle of vodka from the business.

Reports say the suspect used a rock to bust out the glass door to the building.

Allen is charged with burglary.
