WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – At the Surcheros located at 1277 S. Houston Lake Road in Warner Robins, team members walked us through how they prepare the dip that customers enjoy with every entrée.

“We start off with fresh avocados, and we make them every day, cut them ourselves, squish them every day. And we get all the ingredients together,” said Tyler Goforth, area manager for Surcheros.

The recipe includes fresh tomatoes, cilantro, white onions, jalapeños, salt and lime juice.

But it’s not just the ingredients that make the guacamole special, according to independent owner and operator Kyle Cullars.

“We pride ourselves on everything at Surcheros being fresh. We don’t even have a freezer onsite,” Cullars said. “Great food, great Southern hospitality. We just love having people come in and enjoy all this, sit down and treat them like family.”

At Surcheros, guacamole is always included with every burrito, taco, bowl or salad at no extra cost. The restaurant says it’s part of making fresh food accessible for everyone.

In addition to guacamole, some of the most popular menu items include the grilled burrito and queso. In fact, Surcheros is also planning to celebrate National Queso Day on Saturday, September 20. Rewards members will receive a free regular queso with the purchase of a full-size entrée.

Surcheros encourages guests to join its rewards program through the app, where customers earn points on every order.
