Sunshine for Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  This  morning we were not as cold as we were yesterday morning with temperatures in the mid 30s. Today will be much warmer across the area in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine to dry us out from yesterdays rain.  Similar conditions are expected for your Friday although we will be partly cloudy. Rain moves in on Friday with a 80% chance of rain overnight in to Saturday. After the rain on Saturday morning, the afternoon looks partly cloudy and in the low 60s.  Sunday we will stay dry and mild in the low 60s again. Rain will once again begin to move in on Monday night. This will continue into Tuesday when a line of storms will move through. Our southern counties have been placed under a level 2/5 risk for strong to severe storms. Anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain is expected across the area over the next 7 days.
