Sunny and warmer today, sunny and cooler tomorrow

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The lovely dry weather continues, though the air will be warmer later in the day. It was cooler this morning with temperatures starting in the low to mid 40s, but this afternoon, temperatures rise to the upper 70s.

A dry front moves into the area overnight. That just means that a cold front moves through the area but won’t bring us rain. Heck, it won’t even bring a noticeable increase in cloud cover, if it brings any. The overnight low will be around 47, but you’ll feel the effects of the front by tomorrow afternoon as temperatures hover around the low 70s.

Next chance for rain and storms will be Wednesday either in the afternoon or evening. It’s not the manic weather from Friday, by the way: just a chance for rain and storms, with maybe some strong storms due to the wind shear.

After that, temperatures will cool down by Friday and Saturday with highs in the 60s(!).
