Sunny, seasonable start to new work week

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- Sunshine and the 70’s return today as we kick off a new work week.

TODAY.

Under a mostly sunny sky this afternoon temperatures will warm into the low and middle 70’s. We will stay dry today which could very likely end up being the only completely dry day this week. Clouds will build in overnight as temperatures are forecast to fall towards the low 50’s.

TOMORROW.

Clouds will hang around through much of the day as temperatures climb back into the low 70’s. Rain showers look to move in during the second half of the day.

WEEK AHEAD.

Rain chances will be present for each day the rest of the week. Our best shot at rain will come on Friday as a cold front comes through the area. It’s too early for forecast specifics, but a few storms are possible with this frontal passage as well. We’ll keep an eye on it and let you know more information as the week goes on.
