Sun and clouds with the upper 70’s expected

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all!! Hope your Wednesday is going well. This morning we are in the 40s a bit warmer than we were yesterday at this time. Today will be warmer as well, with temperatures rising into the upper 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight we clear with lows in the upper 40s. Thursday will bring even warmer weather with highs in the low 80s. However, rain and thunderstorms are forecasted to return to the region on Friday, with temperatures remaining in the 80s Unfortunately, this rainy pattern is expected to persist through the weekend, which may not be favorable for outdoor events such as the cherry blossom festival and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
