Sun and clouds in the 60’s today
Throughout the day, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures climbing into the 60s.
Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend despite the rainy weather we experienced. This morning, we’re starting off with a few clouds and temperatures ranging from the upper 30s to low 40s. Throughout the day, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures climbing into the 60s. As we move into the overnight hours, temperatures will remain similar to this morning, in the upper 30s to low 40s. Tomorrow, we can anticipate similar conditions with a mix of sun and clouds and slightly warmer temperatures in the low 70s. By Wednesday, temperatures will continue to warm up, reaching the mid-70s, and Thursday will bring even warmer weather with highs in the upper 70s. However, rain and thunderstorms are forecasted to return to the region on Friday, with temperatures remaining in the 70s. Unfortunately, this rainy pattern is expected to persist through the weekend, which may not be favorable for outdoor events such as the cherry blossom festival and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Rainfall totals could range from 1 to 2 inches, contributing to the above-average rainfall we’ve experienced so far this year. Despite the wet weekend ahead, I hope you all have a great day! Stay dry and safe out there.
