Summer heat is not going anywhere

The heat is on!  The sustained heat wave is not showing any signs of going anywhere.  We had another day of upper 90’s and low 100’s again today.  The humidity factored in, made it feel like 102 degrees plus again today, and well…..nothing on the horizon that will help.  There are some showers and thunderstorms again today, but they are not going to be likely for everyone.  Some of the storms could be on the strong side, but as of now, I don’t see much risk for Severe weather.  Is a warning or two possible, absolutely, but likely…no.  The weather over the next few days really won’t change much.  We will have afternoon highs in the upper 90’s to near 100 degrees, but it will feel like the low 100’s with the humidity combined.  Storm chances will be there the next 7 days, but until we get to later Sunday and early next week the chances will not be that great.  Stay hydrated folks!  -Chris
