Summer Family Entertainment Continues This Week At Atlanta Motor Speedway

HAMPTON, GA – After successful opening last week, Atlanta Motor Speedway’s summer racing series continues tonight with “Thursday Thunder” racing on track’s quarter-mile “Thunder Ring” on the Speedway’s frontstretch, will featuring Legends and Bandolero racers as well as other classes.

The economical and family-friendly entertainment includes an autograph session before the night’s feature races where fans can come down from the grandstands and see the race cars up close on the frontstretch.

“We’re very excited to see a high level of interest to start the 2011 season of Thursday Thunder,” said Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark. “We’re pleased to be able to offer great racing and quality entertainment to area fans seeking fun family entertainment at a very affordable price.”

On Friday night, the excitment continues with the Friday Night Drag Racing & Car Show Series.
