Summer Camps Celebrate End of Summer

Hundreds of kids strapped on their dancing shoes to celebrate the end of summer Friday morning.

The kids showcased their talents in front of their friends, families, and community members at the 2nd Annual STONE Academy and Motivating Youth Summer Enrichment Program Grand Finale.

Both the STONE Academy and the Motivating Youth summer camps work with at-risk kids in Middle Georgia to help keep them safe while school is out.

After Friday’s performances community members enjoyed cotton candy and snow cones at a block party in front of the Grand Opera House on Mulberry Street in downtown Macon.
