Student caught with gun at school
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Milledgeville Alternative school was placed on lock-down while police searched for a student with a gun.
Officers searched GNETS of Oconee school and found a .32 caliber handgun in Gadson’s pocket.
The incident happened Wednesday around 9:45 a.m. Misheon Gadson, 17, of Putnam County was arrested.

“The handgun was not loaded,” said Milledgeville Police Major Reginald Hill. “However, it posed a threat to the security of the school.”
Gadson was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm on a school campus, possession of a firearm by a person under 18 and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Major Hill said more charges are pending.
