Student Accused of Assaulting Bus Driver, Another Student Admits to Bringing Steak Knife to School in Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Bibb County teenagers are in trouble with the law after two separate incidents Tuesday at Bibb County schools.

The first was at Hutchings Career Center where a 14-year-old student was arrested and charged after he admitted to police that there was a steak knife in his bookbag. The second incident was
around 4 pm. Bibb County campus police responded to a report of a student assaulting a school bus driver.

The 13-year-old student was placed in a patrol car and officers interviewed the driver and another transportation official. That student is now permanently banned from riding the buses in the Bibb County School System.

Both of these incidents are still under investigation.
