Structure fire damages motel in Gray

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Both Bibb and Jones County firefighters contained a blaze that started at the Skyline Motel on Old Gray Highway early Friday afternoon.

According to Jones County Assistant Fire Chief William Wright, the fire was suspected to have started near a laundry room around 12:30 p.m.

Motel employees and one customer were at the motel when the fire started, but no injuries were reported.

The official cause of the fire is still being investigated.
