Stray showers and storms today

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good rainy Wednesday morning to you all. This morning we are starting off pretty wet with off and on showers across middle Georgia. We have already seen a half to one and a half inches of rainfall since yesterday. Today we will see spotty showers and thunderstorms throughout the day with a passage of a cold front. Temperatures will be in the low 70s for today, so we will be a bit warmer today than yesterday. Temperatures are pretty nice the the 70s for your Thursday with partly cloudy skies. The next rain chance will come Friday into Saturday. This could bring the chance for a few storms, however strength and timing is not know at this time. Another inch to two inches of rain is possible Friday into Saturday. We could be dealing with some river flooding as we enter the weekend as we already have a river flood warning for Bibb. Sunday  will be a good day in the 60s. Next week we will be cloudy in the 60s.
