Storms possible tonight, much sunnier tomorrow

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — We’re still keeping our eyes to the skies with isolated storms still possible tonight in our viewing area. There is potential for severe weather, though the risk is marginal and we don’t expect anything widespread.

Friday brings much sunnier conditions to the area! We’re also forecasting very warm temperatures in the 80s for our high, well above the average of 74. The record high for tomorrow is 89, set back just three years ago in 2012.

However, the warm temperatures come to an end as a cold front moves through Middle Georgia Friday overnight into Saturday morning. We’re expecting the sun to return that afternoon, but not the warmth, as the highs are expected to be in the low 70s. This will last through Easter as well — great news! — with abundant sunshine, low humidity and comfortable low 70s in the forecast on your holiday.
