In a news release, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said investigators were notified Wednesday morning that the rifle was recovered during a traffic stop in Atlanta on Tuesday night around 10 p.m.

Three men and a woman were in the silver Toyota Camry where the gun was found. During the stop, officers also found a stolen pistol, a bag of methamphetamine, and marijuana.

The four people who were in the car are 22-year-old Trayvis Gray, 20-year-old Tonisihia Lee, 20-year-old Phillip Kemp, and 24-year-old Eric Stewart all from Atlanta. They are charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
