Staying chilly to seasonable for much of the week
Overnight lows remain colder than average, however. Your average overnight low is 35, yet yesterday we woke up to 25, and this morning we felt temperatures as low as 23. Tomorrow “warms up” a little but the morning low will still be on the chilly side at 30. Winter lovers rejoice!
A small cold front swings into our area tomorrow night. You won’t notice it: cloud cover and rainfall are just about nonexistent, but do expect slightly cooler highs tomorrow in the low 50s. Then Wednesday overnight into Thursday morning will bring back 20s for lows.
The next chance of rain is this Friday as the latest models show widespread showers moving into Georgia from the southwest. With the winds shifting southward as well, it’ll be a bit warmer in the 60s, but we’ll be back in the 50s this weekend.
