State Rep. Rusty Kidd not seeking fourth term
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – E. Culver “Rusty” Kidd, the only independent in the state legislature, decided he is not seeking re-election.
Kidd represents Baldwin and Putnam counties in the Georgia House of Representatives.
His decision to not run for a fourth term leaves the race for the 145th District between two longtime Milledgeville residents: businessman Rick Williams (R) and Floyd Griffin (D) who served as a state senator and mayor.
The seat is up for election on the November 8 ballot.
