State Closes Two Warner Robins Day Care Centers

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two day care centers in Warner Robins are closed after the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning determined the children there were “in imminent danger”.

Unique Tutoring and Individualized Children Academy at 153 Evergreen Street and 1519 Russell Parkway were issued an emergency closing.

The state found several violations at the facilities including transportation, appropriate supervision of children, criminal record checks of employees and missing/incomplete files. On Thursday, judge upheld the state’s emergency closure and is scheduled to sing the order on Monday.

According to DECAL’s website, Venetta Burks-Taylor owns both facilities.
