State Bank and Trust employee sentenced to 46 months in prison

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Lindi D. Vickers, age 39, was sentenced to forty six months in prison for misapplying bank customer’s funds.

The Bartow, Georgia native was an employee for State Bank and Trust in Macon, Georgia.

According to U.S. Attorney G.G. Peterman III, from 2010 to 2014 she was assistant manager at the bank and used her posistion to transfer funds totaling $263,700 from customer accoutns on fifty seven (57) different occasions.

The customers did not know she was taking their money and converting it to her own.

In addition to prision time she will have to pay $273,420.59 in restitution and won’t be able to work in a FDIC bank again.
