Stanley Stewart to run for District 3 Macon-Bibb Commission seat
Stewart says his top priorities are economic development and public safety for the east Macon community.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Lifelong Macon resident and owner of Stewart Advertising, Stanley Stewart, signed his Declaration of Intent to run for the Macon-Bibb County Board of Commissioners District 3 seat.
The seat will be open at the end of current commissioner, Elaine Lucas’, term later this year.
Stewart says his top priorities are economic development and public safety for the east Macon community. He says he wanted to represent the East Macon community and work with the Board of Commissioners to improve all of Macon.
“The best way to make sure that we are doing things in a positive direction, is by working together and being transparent in the things that we do as a as a city government and as the leaders who are representing their government,” said Stewart.
