Spring Into Good Health event returns to Peach County with free screenings, food, and family activities

Residents in Peach County will have the opportunity to connect with health resources and enjoy family-friendly activities at the 4th Annual Spring Into Good Health event this weekend.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Residents in Peach County will have the opportunity to connect with health resources and enjoy family-friendly activities at the 4th Annual Spring Into Good Health event this weekend.

The community health fair is set for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marvin Crafter Festival Park in Fort Valley. Organizers say the event has grown into the largest annual health fair in Peach County.

Millicent Jordan with the Peach County Health Department says the event is designed to bring important health services and information directly to the community.

Attendees will have access to a variety of free resources, including health screenings, food, and health education opportunities. The event will also feature several activities aimed at making wellness engaging for the entire family.

Highlights include a community baby shower for expecting mothers, a live cooking demonstration focused on healthy meals, line dancing, and door prizes throughout the event.

Organizers say the goal is to make health resources accessible while also creating a fun and welcoming environment where families can learn more about improving their well-being.

Community members are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the free services and activities available during the event.
