Spring Hours for Amerson Water Works Park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It is time to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather and now you can do so at Amerson Water Works Park.  Today park organizers announced their extended spring hours.

The park will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 9am-7 pm. The gates are locked to cars on Monday and Tuesdays, but you can still walk in to picnic or run on the trails.

Amerson Water Works Park is part of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.

The park is located off Pierce Avenue in Macon.
