Sports Hall of Fame Stays in Macon

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame will stay in Macon, that’s according to the Interim Director of the Hall, Ben Sapp.  Today, the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Authority unanimously agreed to accept the proposal to keep the sports museum here in Middle Georgia.  Halls of Fame Inc. was the only group to bid on the museum’s location.

In the coming weeks details on museum management will be worked out.

No update yet on the Music Hall of Fame, which has had several cities place bids.
