Southwest Student Arrested, Charged with Possession of Weapon on Campus
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 17-year-old Southwest High School student was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon on campus.
According to the Bibb County Jail website, Malcolm Houston was booked just before 11 this morning.
In a news release from the Bibb County School District it says Houston was caught with brass knuckles during a random search at the high school.
Today campus police checked about 160 students for weapons and drugs at Southwest, and Appling Middle School during a random search.
