Son fatally shoots his father during domestic dispute in Houston County

Alexzander Capella-Ortiz was arrested and is currently housed in the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A son shot and killed his father during a domestic dispute in Houston County, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.

52-year-old Adalberto Ortiz-Nieves and 21-year-old Alexzander Capella-Ortiz had a domestic dispute on May 8 around 8:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Wimberly Road in Hawkinsville.

Capella-Ortiz shot and killed his father during the dispute. 

Capella-Ortiz was arrested and is currently in the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
