Some voters in line vote as soon as polls open in Macon
Voters keep a close on eye on the Bibb County Sheriff's Office Race.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – I stopped by two polling place in Macon on Tuesday, The Boys and Girls Club of America on Shurling Drive and Fall Line Church on Rocky Creek Road.
The voters, I spoke with said they were eager to vote because of what is on the ballot this year.
“I definitely hope with the social justices issues and that they can get the minimum wage raised up. I hope with the reproductive rights we can find a way to help with Roe v. Wade being repealed not be such a detrimental thing,” said Mikala Hood, a voter who voted at the Boys and Girls Club on Shurling Drive.
Another race voters are closely watching is the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office race.
“The sheriff race, that’s been a topic amongst the city. People, talking and all that right there and seeing what we can do for the next four years,” said voter, Emil Denerson.
“I chose, who I chose because I like the way that they have always ran the government,” said voter, Michelle Jolly who voted at Fall Line Church on Rocky Creek Road.
These are just a few concerns and issues voters are taking into consideration as they head to the polls.
