Solid waste pickup goes back to quarterly billing

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Another change is coming to your solid waste bills. Macon-Bibb County Commissioners voted to change back to quarterly billing, effective July 2019.

Waste pickup will cost $60 per property. The ordinance directed a six-month waste charge of $120 on property tax bills in September.

This will cover solid waste service from January through June 2019. The bill and property taxes will be due in two installments by October 15th and November 15th 2018.
