Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg carried the Olympic torch on Friday morning as part of the final leg of the relay, just hours before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games. The renowned Grammy-winning rapper, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was seen dancing and waving to a cheering crowd as he donned the white torchbearer uniform near the Stade de France stadium in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.

Snoop Dogg was joined by notable figures including former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who also took turns carrying the torch. The relay included Olympic skiers Lyndsey Vonn of the United States and Sweden’s Frida Hansdotter, as well as International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, who participated just hours before the Games’ opening ceremony.

The event showcased a blend of global leaders and sports icons, culminating in a vibrant celebration of the Olympic spirit.
